These documents describe the MONET ontologies, and how descriptions written in them are converted to OWL and used for matching queries and services:
All three MONET languages for describing problems, queries and services conform to the MONET schema (n.b. the schema has been revised since the above reports were written).
The OWL ontology used for MONET service matching is a modular collection of the following "sub-ontologies", all imported by the monet.owl file. The HTML versions below are generated on-the-fly by the renderer at the University of Manchester and may, as a consequence, be a little slow to appear .
